How do I add an event?

Here are some tips on how to add and promote your events to Eventful.com:

Keep in mind that you must be a registered user to do so.  Registration is super easy and totally free: http://eventful.com/join

Post events - It's FREE
Simply visit  http://eventful.com/events/new and enter all the info you have for your event. 
(Your event may have already been posted by a fan. If you find one of your events listed incorrectly, please let us know and we'll take care of it for you.)

Remember that the more info you enter about your event, the more helpful it is to those viewing it.  So be sure to include info such as images, time, cost to attend, a good description of what the event is about, etc. If you don't see your venue in the drop-down list, you can suggest a new venue and you will be asked for all the necessary details. Once you're finished, be certain to SAVE your work by clicking the "Add event" button at the bottom of the page. Your event will be posted live as quickly as possible. There may be a short delay depending on the current level of usage of Eventful.com. 

Promote your events and fill the house!
You can guarantee that your event will be featured in Eventful's Weekly Events Guide that is viewed by tons of people in your local area. You can also promote on site, giving your listing featured visibility! If you're interested in this feature, just follow the instructions you're prompted through once you've added your event. Or, if you want to upgrade your event listing later on, click on the blue "Promote this event" button that will be viewable on your event page.  There will be details on how to use the feature and its benefits.

Add your Venue - It's FREE
Have a new venue? Simply visit http://eventful.com/venues/new and enter all the info you have for your venue. Then, click on “add events” in the toolbar
(Your venue may already be listed on Eventful. If you find one of your venues listed incorrectly, please let us know and we'll transfer online "ownership" of it to your Eventful.com account.)

 

After you're finished and have saved your event details, you'll be led to a page that offers you to take part in our Event Promotions program. If you'd like to upgrade your event to ensure that it receives premier placement either onsite or in our e-mailer for optimal exposure to your local community, click the "Get started" button for options, benefits and costs.

Upgrading your event is not required for it to be added to the Eventful calendar. Your event will go live across the site within minutes, and to many of our distribution partners within about a day.
